Corpus Christi Procession: To mark today’s Solemnity, there will be a Blessed Sacrament Procession beginning at 3pm in the church. All Primary 4 pupils who made their First Holy Communion recently, from Parish and out with are especially welcome and invited to lead the Procession around the grounds. Funeral this week: Mary Lawson on Tuesday 13th of June at 10am. Sacred Heart Companions Prayer Group: Monthly meeting this Tuesday 13th June from 1pm-2pm in the Tea-room. Fatima Vigils, Howwood: Next Vigil this Monday. The facilities will be open from 7pm. Rosary Procession at 7.30pm, followed by the celebration of mass, finishing with a period of Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction. Diocesan Lourdes Hospitalité: The pre pilgrimage meeting will be held on Sunday 11th June at 2pm in St Ninian’s , Gourock. At this meeting information will be given regarding bus pick up and what happens on pilgrimage. Please attend if you are able or send a representative. Diocesan Young Adults (18-35): A Defence of Catholic Moral Teaching, concludes on Wed 21st June. In the next talk, For the Lord is our Judge; the Lord is our Lawgiver, Mr Anthony Horan will discuss the relationship between Church and state. Please arrive at the diocesan office before 7pm. The talk will be followed by an opportunity to socialise over drinks in a local bar. Details of future talks in the series can be found on Facebook. Annual Mass for Marriage: To celebrate the gift of marriage, especially engaged and married couples, Mass at 11am this Sunday 11th June in St Mirin's Cathedral. Reception in the Cathedral Hall to follow. Details of those celebrating significant anniversaries can be emailed to Rebecca Harrison at the Marriage and Family Office ([email protected]) Setting out on the Road: Paisley Diocese supports Setting Out on the Road the course which leads to the award of the Catholic Teacher's Certificate (CTC) enabling the recipient to teach Religious Education in the Catholic school. It is taught by the St Andrew's Foundation for Catholic Teacher Education at the University of Glasgow. Setting Out on the Road is for qualified teachers who have not yet obtained their CTC. The cost is £310 and is fully refundable if the following criteria is met. Bishop John Keenan offers monthly supports seminars.
