Ash Wednesday Masses in St John's: 7.30am, 10am & 7pm. Services in St John's & St Mark's Schools at 11.15am
 
P4-P7 Diocesan Lenten Retreat Day: This takes place on Sunday 18th February, from 2pm- 5.30pm, in St Mary’s, Paisley. It will start in the church hall. The retreat day will include activities, Mass and the chance to meet new friends. All participants must bring a signed consent form, which can be obtained from your parish or primary school, or by contacting Fr John Morrison at [email protected] or on 0141 889 5056. The forms will soon be available on the diocesan website.
 
Young Adults’ Pilgrimage: The Diocesan Young Adults office hopes to arrange a pilgrimage to Poland from 5-12 August 2024 for those aged 18-35 years old. We will stay in Krakow with visits to the St John Paul II Centre, Divine Mercy Sanctuary, Salt Mine Museum, Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum and the Częstochowa Sanctuary. Flights from/to Edinburgh. Estimated cost: £600-800pp. To book, please attend a meeting on Sun 25th Feb at 4pm in the diocesan offices. 40 Days for Life: Ash Wednesday 14th February 2024 until Palm Sunday 24th March 2024. What are you going to do for Lent? Please consider joining our 40 Days for Life Peaceful Prayer and Fasting Vigil outside of the grounds of the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Govan Glasgow. Our Vigil takes place from 8am until 8pm each day from Ash Wednesday 14th February 2024 until 8pm on Palm Sunday evening. 
National Day of Prayer: Friday the 16th of February is the National Day of Prayer for those who have suffered abuse.

Sacred Heart Prayer Group: Meeting this Tuesday from 1-2pm in the Tea Room.
 
Holy Face Devotions: There are a few copies of the Holy Face Devotion and Holy Face Novena in the porch. The Holy Face Devotions is recommended especially on Tuesdays during Lent and Tuesdays during the year.
 
Funerals this week: Mary Burns on Monday the 12th Feb and Francis O’Donnell on Thursday the 15th Feb.
