Please arrive at the diocesan office before 7pm. Dr Joseph Bradley will discuss euthanasia. The talk will be followed by an opportunity to socialise over drinks in a local bar. Details of future talks in the series can be found on Facebook. The Children’s Rosary: Their final meeting until after the summer holiday, will be this Friday 2 June at 6.30pm. Weather permitting the Rosary will take place outside at the grotto. Ice creams will be served afterwards. St Cadoc’s children’s rosary group will be joining us. All welcome. First Friday Mass: 6pm on Friday 2ndJune. Altar Servers Practice: Mon 29th May at 7pm in the Church. First Fridays for life. The next First Fridays for Life Mass will be offered in St Aidan's, Johnstone on Friday, the 2nd of June, at 7 PM; Adoration & Confession from 6 PM. AGAP Theatre Presents “Oggie! Oggie! Oggie!” This is written and performed by Stephen Callaghan, one of our parishioners. A modern solo play based upon the Confessions of St Augustine will be performed in the hall on Friday 2nd June at 7.30pm as part of a summer tour on the way to the Edinburgh Fringe. A limited number of tickets still available also from Fr Joe Annual Thanksgiving Mass for the Legion of Mary: This will take place at Carfin Grotto on Sunday, 4th of June with Holy Mass at 3 pm. The afternoon will conclude with the praying of the rosary and Benediction. All active and auxiliary members of the Legion and their families are warmly invited to attend. Annual Mass for Marriage: Bishop John warmly invites all who wish to celebrate the gift of marriage, especially engaged and married couples, to the Diocese of Paisley's at 11am on Sunday 11th June in St Mirin's Cathedral. Reception in the Cathedral Hall to follow. Details of those celebrating significant anniversaries can be emailed to Rebecca Harrison at the Marriage and Family Office ([email protected]) Corpus Christi Procession: To mark the Solemnity of Corpus Christi, there will be a Blessed Sacrament procession on Sunday the 11th of June beginning at 3pm. Primary 4 children who have made their First Holy Communion recently are invited to lead the procession. Teas/Coffees: There are teas/coffees after the 10.00am Mass this weekend and St Marks Parents and Carers Coffee morning after 10am Mass on 18th June. Donations of home baking and prizes for the raffle are gratefully appreciated and can be handed into the hall before Mass. All welcome! Last Fridays Family Night: A big thank you to all who came to welcome our many new families and parishoners. To all those who prepared the hall, worked on the night and cooked wonderful foods, we are truly grateful and thankful. Funeral this week: Michael D’Arcy on Tuesday 30th May at 10am.
