Ignatian Spiritual Exercises:
Men’s’ retreat, 4 & 11 February 2026: A fantastic opportunity to experience St Ignatius’ Spiritual Exercises in a 5-day, shortened form. The retreat will be guided by the monastic community of St Joseph’s Abbey, Flavigny (France), who were founded with the specific charism of offering this version of the Exercises and with a particular apostolate to men. The retreat is open to men in all states of life, who wish to seek God’s will through a deepened detachment from the world.

SPUC News:
Interview with Jonathon Van Maren from the Canadian Centre for Bioethical Reform,  gave a very  powerful address at our SPUC  National Conference. Jonathon brings a wealth of insight into the cultural and strategic dimensions of the pro-life movement, drawing on years of experience in public advocacy and grassroots mobilisation.

In our interview, he speaks candidly about the challenges we face, the importance of truth-telling in a hostile climate, and the role of courage in defending life. Do take time to watch — his clarity and conviction are both timely and deeply inspiring.

Liturgical Year:
A reminder, that from next Sunday (the First Sunday of Advent) the Liturgical Calendar changes to Year A.

Prayer to St. Michael:
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in the day of Battle;
Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, cast into Hell, Satan and all the other evil spirits, who prowl through the world, seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
