If you are interested, please speak to Fr John or contact Mary Hallan, Parish Safeguarding Co-ordinator at: [email protected].

Legion of Mary, St John’s:
The object of the Legion of Mary is the Glory of God through the holiness of its members developed by prayer and active co-operation in the work of Mary and the Church.
The Legion sees its priority being the social and spiritual welfare of each individual. The members participate in the life of the parish through visitations of the elderly in their homes, hospitals and care homes and any other work that requires their support in the Church.
Every legion is required to carry out a weekly apostolic work and to attend the meeting on a Monday evening at 7:00pm.
Could this be you?

Prayer to St Michael:
St Michael the Archangel, defend us in the day of Battle; Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, cast into Hell, Satan and all the other evil spirits, who prowl through the world, seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
