Diocesan Vocations Mass: On Thursday, 12th September, we will celebrate the Diocesan Vocations Mass at St. John’s, Port Glasgow (6.30pm). Bishop John invites you to attend this Mass and to pray between this Sunday Pentecost) and the 12th of September for an increase in Vocations to the Priesthood, Diaconate and Consecrated Life.  You may find it suitable to offer a daily Rosary or a visit to the Blessed Sacrament for this intention.

Pray for Life Novena:  Sign up to the Novena at prayforlife.ie for your daily intention, accompanied by a short reflection and suggested actions to help build a culture of life. The Feast of the Visitation is a celebration of joy in new life, even in challenging circumstances, and we pray for a return to a society that values and protects all human life from the moment of conception to its natural end.

Diocesan Podcast: The Diocese of Paisley Podcast has launched a series of podcasts which are available to listen to now at www.rcdop.org.uk/podcast, as well as on all the major streaming platforms. Do you have a story you’d like covered? Email [email protected]. We are also looking for media students or those interested in podcasting to help with recordings. These will be paid opportunities. The Communications Commission carries out its work under the Patronage of Blessed Carlo Acutis: “God has written a unique and unrepeatable story for each of us, but he lets us write the ending."
