If you know of anyone who might benefit from this offer from the members of the SVdP, please get in touch by calling: 075123 02877 or speak to one of our members after Mass who will be collecting for the Society in the porch.

Prayer to St Michael:
St Michael the Archangel, defend us in the day of Battle; Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, cast into Hell, Satan and all the other evil spirits, who prowl through the world, seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

We pray for those who have died recently:
Barbara Monsen.

We pray for the anniversaries of:
Fr. Thomas B. O’Connor, Vincent Costello, Mary Lawson, Patrick Maguire, Peter Monaghan, John Mooney, Peter Mullen and Anna Sinclair.

Weekly Offerings:
If you wish to set up standing order instead of using church envelopes or the plate collection, you can fill out a standing order form at the back of the church and return it to Fr John.

Congratulations to Monsignor Burke from Bishop John:
I am sure you will join me in offering our congratulations, prayers and best wishes to Father Joe Burke on being honoured with the title and office of Chaplain to His Holiness.  We are delighted that the Holy Father has chosen to recognise Monsignor Burke in this way, and in recognition of his many years of faithful service as a parish priest and as an officer of the diocesan Curia, first as Diocesan Treasurer and now as Vicar General.  It is an honour well merited on account of Mgr. Joe’s faith and lifetime of commitment to the Church and the people of the diocese.
