Piety Stall New Christmas Stock:
Christmas cards, gift items, gift bags, Nativity scenes, children's books and many more Christmas items are now on sale in the stall after weekend Masses.
 
Sacred Heart Prayer Group:
The Sacred Heart Prayer Group will meet on Tuesday 11th November from 1-2pm.
 
Children’s Rosary:
The children’s rosary will meet in the church at Our Lady’s altar on Friday 14th November at 6pm
Children of all ages are invited to help lead the rosary. Children as young as three are even encouraged to take a lead and say a Hail Mary.

Legion of Mary and St Vincent de Paul Society Mass:
Deceased members of the Legion of Mary and the St Vincent de Paul Society will be remembered at 10:00am Mass next Saturday, 15th November.
 
Parish Quiz
The Parish quiz takes place at 7pm on the second Sunday of the month. Next quiz, Friday 14th November in the Parish Hall.

St Andrew's Day Afternoon Tea:
The Social Committee would like to thank everyone who has purchased tickets for the forthcoming St Andrew's Afternoon Tea on Sunday 30th November. Renfrewshire Interfaith Remembrance Sunday Service:
The Renfrewshire Interfaith Group, East Renfrewshire Faith Forum are hosting a service on Remembrance Sunday, 9th November, and is supported by Friends of Barshaw.
The service will take place at the Peace Garden in Barshaw Park. The event will begin at the cafe at 2:45pm before attendees walk to the Peace Garden.
 
Representatives of many faiths and organisations will speak for a few minutes on the theme of ‘Our Future’                              which is the theme of Interfaith Week 2025. At the end of the service a white wreath will be laid at the peace pole in the garden and then attendees will return to the cafe to share soup / hot drink and friendship. Everyone is welcome. 
 
Mass for COP30 Climate Summit – Monday 10th November at 1pm:
Hosted by the Bishops’ Conference of Scotland’s Care of Creation Office and supported by Justice & Peace Scotland, SCIAF, and SCES, this Mass will be celebrated by Archbishop Nolan in St. Andrew’s Cathedral, Glasgow, to pray for the success of the COP30 climate summit in Brazil. After Mass, join us for refreshments at 2pm in Eyre Hall and a live video update from SCIAF’s Ben Wilson, reporting from COP30. All are welcome.
 
Be Still and Know that I am God, 14 - 17 November 2025:
A three-day retreat led by Fr Roger Dawson, SJ, aiming to help participants find a greater attentiveness and disposition to God’s presence in their lives through a disciplining of the mind and awareness of the present moment.
 
Red Wednesday 19th November 2025:
On Red Wednesday, 19th November, our Scottish cathedrals will join Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) in celebrating Mass to remember Christians across the world who suffer for their faith. 80% of all religious persecution in the world is directed against Christians, and our brothers and sisters in Christ desperately need our prayers and support. Will you help us ‘break the silence on Christian persecution’?

World Youth Day 2025: 
The Youth Commission invites pupils in S1-S3 to a Celebration of World Youth Day on Sunday 23rd November, in St James’s Church and hall, Greenock Road, Paisley. The celebration will include an opportunity to go to Confession, to have lunch together, and to celebrate Holy Mass with Bishop Keenan. Grief to Grace:
A Healing Retreat for Victims of Abuse will take place from the 7th – 12th February 2026 in Perth. Mary’s Meals Walk Fundraising:
Mikey, age 10, is taking on another sponsored walk in aid of Mary's Meals for the fourth year running. The last three years he has raised almost £3,000: walking 10K, 11K and 12K respectively.

St John’s Hogmanay Party:
We are delighted to announce the re-introudction of our Hogmanay Party on Wednesday 31st December, from 9:00pm – 2:00am.
